Phone Consultation Clients (Out-of-state clients):
Dr. Kunkel offers health-related consultations over the phone for clients who choose not to see him in person due to living out-of-state or out-of-country. For clients who choose not to establish a face-to-face relationship, physician-level services (such as diagnosis and treatment of specific diseases) cannot be offered. However, Dr. Kunkel can still treat you as a whole person; giving your body what it needs to function at its optimal level. This is how naturopaths were traditionally trained to operate. Technically, this isn’t called practicing medicine because it doesn’t involve diagnosing diseases or treating diseases. It just involves seeing how the body as a whole is out of balance and using natural means to correct the imbalance. When the body is given what it needs, the symptom expressions that modern medicine has defined as specific diseases often improve or go away; even though they weren’t specifically treated. This is how naturopathy works.
